De Belfort Hotel is conveniently located to local attractions such as the Canal Saint-Martin, and well connected by subway to the rest of the city. Guests love being able to explore Paris at their convenience.

You will literally be within walking distance to a host of fine French restaurants and cafes, as well as many other restaurants serving international cuisine. Guests are spoilt for choice in this city of Paris where so much emphasis is put on serving up amazing dishes.

Most visitors are pleasantly surprised about the reasonable prices that this hotel offers, in spite of the fact that it has the ideal location in Paris. Guests are able to save a little on the accommodation and enjoy the extra on gifts and a memento or two.

There have been a few occasions where some visitors have to wait for a table to become free before they can be seated, or if they are lucky enough, they are invited to share with other guests. Nonetheless, the food is worth waiting for.

Although the De Belfort Hotel does have an elevator for guests to get to the upper levels, it does become an issue when you have their luggage with you. The elevators have been described as tiny, and can barely fit more than two people at a time.

The furniture, fittings and fixtures have been described as a little long in the tooth, and do need to be wiped down for dust, and replaced sooner rather than later. Guests who have enjoyed a number of stays here before have complained that the hotel has not been kept up as it should have.
